Hello Friends and Visitors!
My name is Miki Skinner and I am a resident of Franklin, TN. My family and I recently moved
to this gorgeous part of the country and we love it! I have been married to my husband since 1996 and we have two children.
They all keep me on my toes and constantly organizing my own house. (and it's always a challenge to balance everything
in your life no matter who you are!)
I became an organizer because it's what I am good at and I love it! My
friends and family had been telling me for years that this was my calling. I get obsessed with organizing them whenever
I visit. They never seem to mind. I love helping people feel better about life and that is what organizing does.
I can't tell you how many times I have heard someone say, "So that's where that was!" when they discover something they thought they
had lost for good. It's awesome! All in all, it's about you, the client, and what works best in your individual and unique
situation. There is no ONE system that works for everyone. What works for you may not work for someone else and vice versa.
My goal and my passion is to help you find your own system and then assist you in implementing it.
Before I became an organizer,
I was in childcare. I worked in a childcare center, became a nanny for a while, and operated my own state licensed daycare. I
found that the relationships that I built with people through taking care of their most prized possessions was very rewarding.
I am very much a "people person" and I enjoy the interaction. If any of you understand what it takes to be a childcare provider,
then you also understand the qualities it takes to be successful in it; having patience, the ability to teach, lots of energy, and
the key ingredient...organization! Kids will always be your toughest critics too and the parents who entrust them to you must
have faith in you. I bring all of that with me to this profession and I hope that I get the opportunity to share it with
you.
